Ya Razeel Bus
The year 2005 saw the Lebanese people united in protest against the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik El-Hariri.
In response, I created an animation of Arabic slogans plastered on a Volkswagen van. The van, would drive around the assassination scene in downtown Beirut, blasting protest slogans and selling records of these songs. The animation was accompanied by a soundtrack of slogans I had written and sung with colleagues to the tune of Arabic nursery rhymes.
